Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

Hampstead Norreys:

Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

We are delighted to have  received the Anti-Bullying Accreditation from West Berkshire Council. This means that we have demonstrated clear evidence to show how we promote positive friendships, use peer mentoring systems in school, raise the profile of bullying and consider links with our own local community. We understand that bullying can happen to any person at any time and all of our children, parents, staff and governors are committed to ensuring we maintain an anti-bullying culture in our fantastic school.

Currently, we are working with the anti-bullying ambassadors at our federated school, The Ilsleys, to create a programme of events and activities to help promote kindness, boost self-esteem, help raise awareness of bullying and offer support to others.

We have an anti-bullying day programmed in on the 17th May, as well as termly Worship sessions, led by our anti-bullying ambassadors.

Anti-Bullying Assemblies

As part of our federation anti-bullying day on the 17th May, our anti-bullying ambassadors lead a Worship session to discuss bullying and in particular – to discuss what banter means and how it can be harmful.
Our ambassadors worked in groups to create role-plays to show the different types of bullying. Jacob, the quiz-master, created a great quiz to challenge the rest of the school!

The Ilsleys:

Anti-Bullying Week 2025
Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors visited each class to talk about what bullying is, how to recognise it, and how the ambassadors are there to help. They led engaging games and activities to support understanding and help pupils feel confident about seeking support if they need it.
